Guangzhou China Mar. 23, 2011 - The prices of pesticide technicals produced in domestic has been raised, while avennectins' is kept at low level. It is shown that the price of avennectins is USD84/kg.
Avennectins runs at low price mainly due to oversupply. Avennectins capacity has expanded rapidly all these years, while its downstream demand increases slowly, which leads to a glut. The capacity of avennectins in China has exceeded 4,800 tonnes while the total demand is only 2,400 tonnes.
Both avennectins technical and formulation have the inventory of high pressure. Some manufactures launched new products last year, and their output increased. Insect outbreak in paddy cotton, vegetable and fruits has diminished in recent years and avennectins annual dosage is limited. Therefore, avennectins market is oversupply and curbs price increases.
